Best balls and skins for every Kick Fall map type

Ball mass changes everything: bounce height, chain speed and which surfaces pay out. Here is the loadout logic for rooftops, industrial drops, canyons and event maps.

Kick Fall balls are not just cosmetic. Under each skin sits a mass value, a restitution rating and a roll profile, and those three numbers decide whether a map plays like a scoring playground or a brick wall.

Skins mostly share stat profiles, so think in tiers rather than individual balls: light, standard and heavy.

What the stats actually do

Mass sets momentum. Heavy balls hold speed through clutter and punch through light hazards, but they bounce lower and starve on vertical chains. Light balls float across surface fields and feed long chains, at the cost of bouncing off armoured surfaces instead of paying out.

Restitution is the bounce back per hit. High restitution suits maps where surfaces are stacked vertically; low restitution suits dense horizontal fields where staying low preserves chain speed.

Rooftop and skyscraper maps

Standard balls win here. Rooftops mix glass canopies with metal scaffolding, and the standard profile pays on both without floating past the checkpoints. A light ball is playable if your kick angle is shallow.

Industrial and crane maps

Heavy tier. These maps pay on structural steel and armoured panels that shrug off light impacts. The reduced bounce height does not hurt because industrial surfaces stack horizontally.

Canyon and open drops

Light tier, every time. Open drops reward airtime and wall ricochets. Heavy balls crater into the canyon floor before the chain matures.

Event and seasonal maps

Read the featured hazard first. Pumpkin and gift-crate events usually favour standard profiles; ice and wind anomalies favour light balls that can ride the drift. Our weather guide covers the anomaly cases.

When skins matter

Stat profiles repeat across the skin pool, so the skin itself is identity. Players serious about a signature look should check the custom ball design service, or grab community art from the merch packs.

Pick the ball for the map, not the moment. The kick adjusts to the ball, never the reverse.

Key takeaways

  • Think tiers: light, standard, heavy. Skins share profiles.
  • Rooftops favour standard, industrial favours heavy.
  • Canyons and wind anomalies favour light balls.
  • Restitution matters most on vertically stacked maps.
  • Skins are identity; stats are what scores.

Questions

FAQ

Paid balls offer different stat profiles, not higher ones. Every tier has a free option that is competitive on the right map.
Pick one ball per tier you actually play and max those. A maxed standard ball beats three half-upgraded options.
Community skins change appearance only. Any custom skin sits on whichever stat profile you apply it to.
